Richie Brace - AFO
From Richibrace.com: The Richie Brace® incorporates a custom balanced foot orthotic into a semi-rigid ankle brace to provide extraordinary control over the rearfoot complex. The custom foot orthotic articulates with the limb uprights with pivots precisely aligned with the individual patient’s ankle joint axis. The result is the effective control of the major pedal joints i.e. First Ray, Midtarsal, and Subtalar while allowing pure motion of the ankle joint in the sagittal plane. At the same time, unwanted ankle inversion/eversion as well as internal/external rotation of the tibia is controlled by the Richie Brace®.
